OK, I think I got rid of the mixed content messages in habitcal, but there are a bunch lurking around in other corners of the everydaysystems site. I'll keep hunting them down but always feel free to let me know when you bump into this or anything else that looks peculiar.

Good to know! Thanks. While I was fixing the slowness issue I did a bit of rejiggering that I guess might have helped the emails withstand spam filters a little better.

I fixed the posting slowness (slowness had to do with emails -- posts that didn't trigger an email were fine, posts that did took a solid minute just to send the email).

Potential new problem: is anyone actually getting these emails?

I haven't forgotten about the slow posting either. I'm still seeing a minute plus slowness sporadically (though the posts do successfully go through).

I'm still investigate the posting slowness... it's annoying to have to wait a minute+ for a post to through.

I see the issue and should have a fix shortly (side effect of another long overdue improvement, moving the everydaysystems site to secure https instead of http).

Yes, that's exactly the issue I saw. Anytime someone has registered to be alerted by email about updates to a topic it'll happen. I will figure this out tonight or tomorrow.

It's faster (and cheaper), but email seems to be broken.

Username -- I like your mod / application of no S to drinking! Very sensible and elegant.

It's not going to help safety-wise if you full on whack your self in the head with it -- but it will help with the occasional shin-graze (or cat-graze), which is something you're far more likely to do. It also makes for a great conversation piece.
