Re: actual weight loss

Has the people who have tried this diet really lost weight? Yes. Lots of people, myself included. if so how long did it take to notice? The first month I started to lose weight (2lbs?), but I was stalled in my 2nd month. I didn't give up and adjusted my meal composition to have fewer failures (some...

One of my N-day meals is bigger than the others too - for me that's lunch which I eat at the canteen at my workplace (they usually have enough variety that I can find something which is both reasonably healthy and enjoyable most days). I have a standard plate of food and a dessert plate of cut-up fr...

Failures are an integral part of the NoS learning experience. Ask yourself "why did it happen?" and take measures to minimise the chances of it occurring again. Re: Grazing....? pls.

Is it possible to take a plate of food and just graze on it till your next meal? On weekends, yes. On N-days, no way. This is explicitly forbidden by the "No snacks" rule and very bad regarding habit forming. Also it would give off a very sloppy image of yourself. Also "grazing" food is probably le...

Don't fret over it, just try to learn when/what/how to eat so that it does not happen again. If you are like me you will have many more failures - I learn slowly - just keep going!

Both! you should not have them on N-days because they trick your brains into keeping the habit to have sweets and desserts everyday. But you can have them on weekends if you want them.

Finding meal formulas that enable you to follow noS effortlessly may require some adaptation depending on the indidual. So yes, have what you normally would have at meals, and listen to your body. If you have trouble following the noS diet rules, it may help to adjust your meals. You may need fuller...

When I first read about the program, it looked like it made sense. No real deprivation...no 'being good or bad', just limiting your intake to 3 meals and enjoying what you missed on the weekend. Am I wrong? Thanks. Well, you are right. The basic rules of noS are what's important AND sustainable. It...
