I'm checking in here for the first time ever, so I thought I'd give everyone a little background and then some data.
I first experimented with No S in the summer of 2012 and had some success, but didn't stick to it. I also began working out with a Shovelglove around the same time.
In the fall of 2012, I stuck to No S sometimes, but got really bad about working out. I also ran/jogged occasionally.
In December of 2012, I decided a big change was needed, and resolved to:
1) Follow the No S Diet
2) Workout with the Shovelglove every weekday
3) Run/jog three days every week
The following is a summary of my weight , beginning in January 2012, before I started any of this. I should note that am 31 years old and 6 feet tall.
Jan. 26, 2012 - 207.2 lbs
Dec. 17, 2012 - 197.8
Jan. 15, 2013 - 184.6
Feb. 20, 2013 - 178.0
Mar. 23, 2013 - 174.2
Apr. 20, 2013 - 180.0
My weight has bounced back up to around 180 and seems to be stabilizing there, though it does fluctuate mildly.
Finally, I should also note that I slip up sometimes and have a snack and that I have days or weeks when I don't get around to working out. I also drink a fair amount of beer. I'm ok with that.
I cannot say enough about what No S has done for me. It has simplified my life in so many ways and made me a much healthier and happier person. Thanks to Reinhard and everyone else here!

Jake,
Congratulations and thank you for posting here!
It's been a little while since we've had a male testimonial here -- funny I remember the days when people were concerned that it only seemed to work for men.
Great to hear that you're doing shovelglove as well. And that you've been able to achieve such great results even with a touch of imperfection.
And don't sweat the fluctuation -- it's inevitable. I don't think there's a week I don't go up and down 5 pounds.
Best of luck going forward and looking forward to future updates,
Reinhard

Congratulations! I really appreciate the "Nike" attitude: Just Do It! How often we complicate matters that can be and should be pretty straightforward--like eating three good meals a day and getting a bit of exercise.
Thanks for sharing.

The simplification of life is one of the main benefits I'm experiencing as well. Many thanks for listing it.

You are a real testimony to strict moderation!
Thought you might be interested to know that you went from weighing more than 69% of men in your age/height group to weighing more than only 41% of them. A very nice place to live, esp. if you had always been a heavier guy.
Hope you keep up with us every six months or so!
