A Plug for Podcasts!

Post by lbb (Liz) » Sun Jun 10, 2012 11:38 pm

I'm a big No-S fan and have veered away here and there with different mods thinking I know best (how dare I?!
 ).
I'm realizing how deep ingrained my habits and mindsets are.
Anyways, I spent a lot of time listening to the podcasts this weekend to help realign myself.
I actually got a lot done! Mowed the lawn, cleaned, and went on a walk while listening to a few.
For anyone having a "S-day-gone-wild" today, listen to it. I did learn today that I haven't really ever let myself ENJOY food on S days. I've made it obligatory stuffing in because I can. And perma-snacking with stale packaged crap.
Today I went and bought a delectable chocolate macaroon cookie and enjoyed it post-lunch.
It was so different from the handfuls of M&Ms I was hurriedly eating before-hand.
So, all I'm saying, is if you're struggling, as I have been, go back to the basics. These helped me this weekend:

Negative Qualification
S-days Gone Wild
Strictness
No Solitary Snacking

:)

I guess this doesn't work unless you actually do it.
Please pray for me
