So if my calendar is accurate, this is a very special day for the guy who's behind these Everyday Systems! Happy 40th, my dear. May you celebrate a big ole very Special S day! I say, go for the extra helpings, a couple of snacks and a huge slice of cake. You deserve it.
Enjoy your day with that beautiful family of yours!
Signed,

Thank you all! So far so good! My kids gave me 40 minutes of peace and quiet this morning and my coworkers wrapped my entire workstation in black (including my "agile" sprint cards!). Off to grab a copy of the kabbalah, now that I'm permitted to read it...

Did not know about the pre 40 prohibition on the Kabbala

Happy Birthday Reinhard!
Now that I'm more than halfway to my second forty I can say that all mention of 40 being over the hill is nonsense.
When I turned forty my coworkers draped the whole area with black streamers and had some other morbid stuff around. Bear in mind, I'm a nurse and it was a patient care area! Actually, the patients were all in on it.
