Soup, and Salad ( or adding a Salad to a meal)

Post by JSFinley » Thu Mar 27, 2014 2:38 pm

Hey I was wondering what everyone else does in this case.

It's been a while since I have been a NoS'r, and I got into the habit of having a large salad for lunch and adding either a sandwich, or a bowl of soup....

How does everyone else handle this situation, a salad can be quite substantial, but yet not very filling for a meal....

I had soup and a salad for dinner last night. I put the soup in a bowl, the bowl on a dinner plate, then filled in the spots the bowl didn't cover with salad.

Soup and sandwich I'd do the same way, but it's not a personal preference to have a sandwich at all if the soup is very hearty. (Though tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich sounds pretty good now that I think about it!)

I have various sizes of bowls that fit on plates I have. Everything goes on the plate.
