17mo - 30lbs - 4 sizes!!!

Post by Catbert » Sun Apr 23, 2006 11:30 pm

Well Howdy Folks!

I can't believe it's been 6 months since I posted last! Time flies when you're having fun - and No S-ing. Thought it was time for a quick update and hopefully encourage a few people at the same time. :D

Like the title says, I've been No S-ing for about 17 months now - but its so second nature it feels like I've been doing it for years! I actually had to go back and count based on my last post!

I've lost a total of 30 lbs and even though I have leveled out on the scale (haven't lost any new weight in a few months) I have dropped pant sizes! (Four total, one recently.)

It seems so surreal to be the one posting this... this kind of success happens to other people not me, right? When I came across the No S diet I was positive it was the right thing for me - it just made so much sense - but I never new I would have so much success. I thank God everyday for leading me to it!

I can't add much to what many of you post everyday in the way of encouragement, but I will say one thing - STICK WITH IT!!! Habits are difficult to change, but they do change! I read somewhere once that if you "fall off the wagon", you are only one meal away from getting back on track - that's been my motto and I'm sticking to it!

Well, gotta run for now! Hope to get back here a little more often in the future. Happy No S-ing!

Blessings,
Catbert

Congratulations on your determination, persistence, and success, Catbert. If "S" can stand for "Success" then every day is an S-Day for you!

God bless you, too!

Congratulations! There's hope for us all :)

I seem to be losing weight without actually seeming to get any thinner.

Just keep it up. You'll get thinner.
