Kindle (Amazon's EBook Reading Device)
Sorry-I should have provided more info.
The Kindle is Amazon's new ebook reading device.
I've had mine for a month and absolutely love it.

Hey, Scott. I just was reading about the Kindle recently, but I think I might have misunderstood. Are you saying that each book you choose to read costs about $10? I was under the impression that the books were included in the $300 price? Was I being naive?

Kindle Books
The Kindle costs $400, and you have to pay for the books.
Most new books are $9.99. Older books are less. For example, I was able to get the complete works of Shakespeare for under $5 (same for complete works of Dumas). There's also a way to get free ebooks (non-copyrighted books) downloaded into the Kindle.
Kindle is dangerous because you can purchase a book from the Kindle and it's wirelessly delivered within 60 seconds (a book lover's dream!). The good thing is that Amazon doesn't charge for the wireless service, which works off of cell phone technology (this way you don't have to find a wi fi hookup).

Kindle
I agree with Scott. I too have a Kindle and have had it for 4 weeks and am enjoying it and would also pay the 9.99 price. Also, there are ebook sites where you can get FREE books, such as the classics and very informative discussion groups on Amazon to help those who are having trouble with their Kindle. If in doubt Amazon gives you 30 days within which to return your Kindle if you are not happy with it.
