OK, so I was at work today and was getting hungry for breakfast.
I was going to run to our coffee shop to prepare some optimized oatmeal and to my surprise, my job had a catered breakfast for us!
Soooooo, I strolled up on up the buffet, had ONE plate of food that had eggs, potatoes, bacon, 1/2 of a small bagel with real cream cheese and 1 cup of coffee with whole milk.
I wasn't too hungry during lunch because of the satisfying breakfast so I grabbed a bran muffin from our breakfast buffet and had that with a cup of wild orange herbal tea.
For dinner, hubby wanted to pick up some food at The Fresh Market (a real and rare treat) and I had a lovely dinner of buttery garlic rotisserie chicken, rice stuffed grape leaves and tortellini salad with sun dried tomatoes and two glasses of pinot grigio!
Trust me, I don't always eat so decadently! My mainstays are grilled cheese sandwiches and beans! But, the beauty of No S is that I don't have to panic about my meals. It was a lovely No S Monday.
I am going to have a cup of herbal tea and am so happy that I survived another Monday without binging thanks to the No S habits.

Here's part of why I love The No S Diet -- I don't have to be evaluating whether I have emotional or physical hunger!
Is It Physical Hunger or Emotional Hunger?
By Woman's Day
Before you eat that...
Physical hunger
Builds gradually
Strikes below the neck (e.g., growling stomach)
Isn't accompanied by a sense of compulsion
Occurs several hours after a meal
Goes away when full
Leads to feeling of satisfaction after eating
Emotional hunger
Develops suddenly
Hits above the neck (e.g., a "taste" for ice cream)
Results in an urgent need to eat
Is unrelated to time since last meal
Is specific, often for a particular food or brand
Persists despite fullness
Leads to guilt and shame after eating
With The No S Diet, I have to evaluate whether it is an N Day or an S Day, and I have to evaluate whether it is one of three meals or not.
No more listening for hunger growls!
