My first N day, OK (so far)

Post by MarieDe » Tue Apr 20, 2010 2:12 am

I started NoS-ing over the weekend, but I've been reading up on it since last week. It's funny how quickly I've started thinking this way, like last night I was having lasagne for dinner and I thought "Now you better take a big piece, cause now you're doing NoS and that means no seconds." Then I thought "But today is Sunday, I can eat whatever my little heart desires today!" The only other thing I ate yesterday was half of an 8 oz bag of Swedish Fish candy. I've been tempted to finish it off today, but so far I've resisted (there is also a very tempting box of coffee cake sitting on my kitchen counter right now, acting all innocent-like). I started my HabitCal for this too, already marked off my S days for the rest of the year, and I really don't wanna have to put a big Red FAIL on my first day for everyone to see!

Welcome to No-S. Don't fret the failures too much, as Reinhard says (somewhere) it takes 12 failures to make a habit stick.
