Gah! Red Day!!!!
I had my first red day. I was doing so well! Dh and I went to see Date Night tonight (hilarious, BTW) and dh bought me a soda and box of candy. I didn't even think about it until I was done with the candy (Whoppers). I was so mad at myself, but tomorrow is a new day.

Your first, but probably not your last.
Nobody's perfect.
Looks like you've already figured out the best thing to do: just get back on track as quickly as possible. The shorter you can keep the "red", the better.
That's been a real evolution for me. With old diets, I'd plan to "start again Monday" (and pig out until then). Then I got to "start tomorrow... I've blown it today." Now I generally re-start right after the lapse.
"Mark it and move on," as vmsurbat posted at one point. Incredibly useful concept.

It's too bad it happened, but that seems like a relatively innocent mistake. At least you didn't try to talk yourself out it and then give in anyway. Sounds like it will be easy to stick to it next time, which might not be true if there had been more drama. When I fell off, I thought in terms of how many green and yellow days I had since the beginning of the year until I had a few days under my belt again. Now it's back to feeling like it's pretty smooth sailing.
