I haven't watched them in ages, but I remember the Clara videos. My Italian grandmother would have been the same age. My grandmother didn't get old, but I could easily imagine her being like Clara if she had.

I aspire to simple, good cooking - buying good ingredients and cooking them with love and care. I don't always succeed, but I try :) . I think that is a trait of Italian cooking in general. At least that's what I learned from my grandmother, and from our trips to Italy.
