I have read a couple of posts concerning either injuries from running, or surgery on feet. I get the foot thing, although I have not had surgery, I get foot pain most afternoons when I am home from work and trying to relax.
Although I have not swum lately (due to travel), I swim on and off. a month ago I swam a mile. But usually, I swim 20-30 minutes. I do what we called when I was a kid, the Australian crawl and the Old English Back Stroke (If I am getting tired.)
So, just a thought, if you are down for the count in your lower half, give swimming a try. Of course if you do not have a place to swim, that might be a chore.
