Well, I've been doing this for four months now. I have to admit that I have been a little less than strict (if you count going off the plan for weeks at a time). In spite of my dilettante's approach I have been steadily losing weight (except for the weeks I go off the plan, funny how that works).
So now I think that I'm going to tighten it up a bit and throw some more regular exercise into the mix.
No real message here, I'm just giving a status report.
I will probably post about my workout plan and progress as well.
