Amazing!

Post by fkwan » Wed May 28, 2008 3:15 pm

Today I whirled an apple, cinnamon and three dates (three lousy dates, you know, the dried fruit from the Middle East) in my food processor to put on my multigrain kashi cereal.

The damn stuff was so sweet I had to throw it out.

Never would have dreamed such a day would come.

It's still surprising to me the way our bodies adjust...

I remember my mother-in-law telling me once that she didn't like the frosting on cake because it was too sweet. Too sweet? I never had heard of such a thing before! Now I understand. (But I think I still like the frosting.)

It's weird isnt' it? I find that even my diet cokes are sweeter than I remember, though I still eat sweets on the weekend.

There was a birthday cake at VON's that i was stuck on for YEARS!!!!!!!!! early on in NO S I just got to the point TOO SWEET ... actually No S has finally got me off all of VON'S cake ... seems like ....

but yes our palette and tastes can change DRAMATICALLY ... it is so hard to explain it to someone who hasn't had the experience!
