Familiar debate, different board. And a suggestion for R.

Hi all,

Came across a post on another Ramit Sethi's financial blog today regarding weight loss and "willpower." Currently, there are over 100 replies, along the usual lines. I chip in at comment numbers 98 and 103, under the screen name Marc, trying to explain No-S. Check it out if you're interested, but be warned that the post is headed with a gratuitous picture of an obese woman in her skivvies, despite the author's professed sympathy for the difficulty of using "willpower" to lose weight. The comments are semi-moderated, and generally troll-free, but the tone is somewhat rougher than the civility Reinhard rightly insists on.

My main reason for mentioning it concerns a suggestion for Reinhard. Ramit Sethi encourages well-thought out guest posts, especially for those looking to broaden the audience for their sites or blogs. He claims that as far back as 2004, he was getting 250,000 visitors per month. His Alexa rank is 39,000. Don't know if this is of interest, but if so:

Bookman,

It certainly is of interest!

I'm utterly overwhelmed with the dayjob right now, but I'm hopeful things should ease up soon.

Anyone have any candidate relevant, high profile blogs?

Reinhard
