one question about No S diet....

Post by DeneMi » Sun Dec 06, 2009 5:55 am

Ok, so I posted a newbie topic introducing myself and asking a question... and got lots of reads and no responses!!

Anyway, this is copied from my previous post... but...

I did have a question though.... I read that one to two alcoholic drinks a day was okay. Does that pertain to beer as well? Because on sugar busters, while some wines are okay and other liquors with the right "sugarless" mixers are okay, beer is an ABSOLUTE NO-NO. I happen to be a beer drinker and other alcohol just doesn't appeal to me that much. Wine would be my next choice.

Yesterday, my first day on No S I had a perfect day, but drank 2 beers (premium not Lite) when I came home from work BEFORE dinner. Is that okay? GREEN or RED day?

According to what I read on the No-S Diet page of this site, alcoholic drinks are not esses especially if you stick to 2 drinks a day (the Glass Ceiling). I didn't see it specifying wine or beer. So, my guess is that 2 beers would still make your day GREEN.

Don't feel bad about no responses -- it always seems that we're slower to respond on the weekends. I read your first post, didn't have time to reply and planned on doing it today.

Yes, two beers a day are permitted and they don't have to be "lite" beer.

Hi, and welcome! Don't feel bad about your 2 beers-enjoy them!
Last year the British released a medical study: one beer a day keeps osteoperosis away! Something in beer helps the body absorb calcium better. So, your after work beer is actually healthy!
Nothing is impossible-only improbable.
