I've been losing weight at a pretty fast clip--approximately 5 lbs per month. Maybe I'm thinking about it too much but it almost sickens me to think how much I was overeating before No S.
The details: I was gaining approximately 1 lb per month pre No S and now I'm losing 5.
Calories difference per month: 6 lbsx3500 cals/lb=21000 calories/month less eaten
21000/31 days/month =677 calories less I'm eating per day
It's almost disgusting.
This version of myself is not permanent, tomorrow I will be different. --BEP

It's all too easy to eat 677 calories. Congratulations on your changed habits and weight loss.
Somebody on the bulletin board suggested keeping track of calories not consumed as being a positive approach!

If it makes you feel any better, I think Reinhard lost 20 lbs. the first two months. Now we know some of that was water, but if you want to do the math, that's a lot of calories NOT eaten. Or burned, however you want to look at it.
Count plates, not calories. 11 years "during"
Age 69
BMI Jan/10-30.8
1/12-26.8 3/13-24.9 +/- 8-lb. 3 yrs
9/17 22.8 (flux) 3/18 22.2
2 yrs flux 6/20 22

There is no S better than Vanilla No S (mods now as a senior citizen)

I have only been doing No S for a little over a week, and I can tell I have lost at least 4 pounds (I won't weigh for another couple of weeks. I was eating SO much before I started, the weight is just falling off. Obviously it won't last like this forever, but it's nice to see pants getting looser instead of tighter.
