I might have posted this before, but I'm to lazy to look. My calorie free liquid intake is porbbably up to 1/2 gallon a day. Unofrtunately today it consisted of more Diet Mt. Dew and less water. But I did get close to 30 oz. of water this evening after dinner.
This hopefully accomplishes two things: 1) it keeps me a bit "fuller" after dinner, and 2) in his book "Living Longer Stronger" Dr. Ellington Darden suggested drinking up to a gallon of ice water a day makes the body generate more heat, burning more calories.
I'm certainly not drinking a gallon a day, but I can tell when I skimp on the liquids.
