"Never" seems so bad. It's why low carb never works long term for me. It's so restrictive. "Later," however is doable. I also understand the notion of "never" if you are addicted or have a serious problem with something. Diet soda probably fits that category for me. I simply can't seem to restrict it, so "never" it will have to be for me.

Thanks so much for the article, this explains why I freak out when I try to do vanilla S. I'm a "daily small dessert" gal.

That certainly seems to describe why it works for me. I resent being told "no", even when it's from myself. But "later" just doesn't generate the same resentment.

That was a great article! I'm like walkerlori, I find I do best with a daily small dessert. I love the idea of pairing it with a cup of decaf coffee! That seems like a great way to keep yourself from eating too much.
