Hello! A quick introduction.

Hello,

I've been reading the boards and I'm very inspired.

I've just completed my first week and it was a success! I'm a SAHM and I've been finding comfort in food for a bit too long now, I've been stuck in a cycle of feeling fat and unhappy, eating more to feel better, feeling more unhappy, doing less and losing my confidence.

Sounds so silly reading it back! Anyway, fresh start, my first week completed and I also took my LO swimming yesterday which I had been putting off for such a long time.

Look forward to chatting with you all.

It is easier when I'm working, but as a teacher, I have some extended time off during the year. I've had some very compliant breaks and some more chaotic, but it is getting easier all the time. Lots of SAHM's used to eat three meals a day. In fact, when I was growing up, except for the occasional coffee klatches my mom had before I went to school, I don't remember her (or us) eating between meals. It can become routine.

Thank you for the lovely welcomes :D

It's nice to hear from other SAHMs following this diet too.

r.jean, the Stay At Home Mum acronym is one of the very few I remember. I didn't think to see if it was used on these boards or not

oolala53 - you're right , I'm certain it can be done and become a routine, it's just tapping in to my willpower. I've read your recent testimonial and have been inspired, well done.

Thanks for that vmsurbat, and well done, that is fantastic weight loss.
