Wow! Well done!! How many other 58 year old women can say they lost ten lbs this year without dieting or exercising? Or being diagnosed with some horrible illness?

You should be proud of yourself. Way to go!

Really inspiring! Thanks for signposting this, I think it is the yearly check ins that I enjoy reading and gain the most encouragement from. I really appreciate your input on these boards and am glad that your are doing so well. Hopefully I will be able to post my own success story a year from now.

Very inspirational, oolala53! I hope to emulate your success.

What I like best about your approach is that happiness seems to be your biggest goal in regard to weight/food... and The No S habit keeps you happiest! That doesn't mean you never creep outside of the rules, or have a 'bad' day, but, from your posts, it seems clear that you continue to cultivate the No S habit and enjoy success because you generally like what you are doing. What a concept: following No S, as Reinhard has suggested in his book, can be pleasurable!:)

Congrats! I believe you have hit the sweet spot that I (and many of us) seek to reach. Here's to many more years of your continued success!
