Hormone Therapy

Post by Over43 » Fri Jul 26, 2013 1:42 am

Well, after Cymbalta, a sun lamp, and whatever else my good doctor tried, he finally blood tested my testosterone levels. Sandra Bullock probably had more testosterone in her system than I did. That, the doc believes, was the root cause of depression, fat gain around my waist, etc.

So I have been on the Androgel for a month. My blood pressure has dropped, my mood has become better, my weight has increased, but my waist has decreased. I looked at a picture of me from three years ago, my back, and I was shocked how unmuscled it looked. Not to brag, but at one time my back was something to brag about. My wife commented that my neck, arms and shoulders appear to be muscling up.

I guess better living through chemistry is the real deal.
