Stretches after shovelglove session

Take a sledgehammer and wrap an old sweater around it. This is your "shovelglove." Every week day morning, set a timer for 14 minutes. Use the shovelglove to perform shoveling, butter churning, and wood chopping motions until the timer goes off. Stop. Rest on weekends and holidays. Baffled? Intrigued? Charmed? Discuss here.

Stretches after shovelglove session

Can you recommend any stretches after shovelglove session? I'm usually getting a little stiff in the shoulders and neck.

One neck stretch that works for me is as follows: sitting down, wrap your arm vertically above and around your head and pull your head gently tilting sideways towards your arm. It stretches the side of your neck opposite to your arm. Hold for 10 seconds, switch sides.
