One more Shovelglover!!

Take a sledgehammer and wrap an old sweater around it. This is your "shovelglove." Every week day morning, set a timer for 14 minutes. Use the shovelglove to perform shoveling, butter churning, and wood chopping motions until the timer goes off. Stop. Rest on weekends and holidays. Baffled? Intrigued? Charmed? Discuss here.

One more Shovelglover!!

Post by Bilou » Tue Oct 28, 2008 5:01 pm

Hi all!

I heard about this thing from a friend of mine and off I was to the hardware store!!

It's been three days now and it looks like I'm gonna love it!

I put my shovel head in the comfort of a Phentex Slipper my mommy knitted for me a while ago. It looks just plain mean... =)

I will keep you posted with my progress.

Bilou

ps: A picture will follow soon...

Welcome, bilou!

Can't wait to see the picture!

When you post it, I think we'll have critical mass for that shovelglove picture gallery that's been discussed before.

OMG, Bilou -- what a hot-looking Shovelglove! Can you get Mom to post her knitting pattern? Could she design in the No-S logo, sell the slippers online, make a million, and retire young? I'm only semi-kidding: if I had a neat looking cover like that, I'd quit shugging "naked" ... thanks so much for sharing. (And isn't it fun! I'm going into month 3 and can't wait to get up in the morning for my routine -- gotta love it!)

That's fabulous.
Great T-shirt, too. :D
It's vital to know exactly how ridiculous you are.
