Who says Urban Ranger is boring???
I almost got killed today while doing it!
I decided to go walk with Richard from school to my Mothers house, and drop him off there and then walk back to my cottage..
Well there was a lot of wind and a huge tree, an oak or maple, came crashing down into the street while I was passing by the house it fell on!
There was a lot of rain in the streets and I knew to move like mad as the tree would knock down all the power lines and I might get electrocuted..
I don't usually Urban Ranger that fast, but for a few seconds, I was up there with Carl Lewis..
All the power in our neighborhood went down for several hours and I was right there to see which tree caused it!
Phew!
I'm okay now, but my adrenaline was off the charts before!!!
Needless to say, I am cutting myself a little slack today in the diet arena because once I got safe and sound again, I figured that if a tree couldn't kill me, then a few scoops of ice cream and potato chips would be okay for a change.. It kinda became an unplanned "Special" Day...
Note to self:
No matter how envigorating it may seem to walk amongt the trees during forty mile an hour winds, no more Urban Rangering during windstorms for the future!
Wow.. What an experience!!!
Glad to still be here (and alive!)and posting that it's
Day 7
Success!!!!
I might see you here this weekend but if not, have a great one all!
Peace and Love,
