Apologies for my weirder-than-usual tone, especially at the beginning. It was tricky finding space and time to get this episode out on time before New Year’s, so I wound up having to record it in a shared, unfinished basement with a blanket over my head to muffle the boiler noises, and some anxiety that our neighbors would discover me in this condition en route to doing their laundry.
