Happy Sunday All,
Didn't get to go to church due to my husband still recovering so I have been thrown off a bit.
Just made breakfast/lunch (it is noon). I made him pancakes and bacon, I made me grilled California blend vegetables (frozen mix but I didn't microwave them, I cooked them (butter sprayed the pan) until slightly charred and crisp in a grill pan). There were red potato slices in their skin, red pepper strips, yellow pepper big pieces, zucchini slices and onion strips. The bag said serves 4, 45 calories per serving. I ate it all
A side note (as I have been reading the LiveStrong website about supplements), I have not taken a prescription medication in forty years (since I had my last child, a C Section so I suppose there were some pain pills, maybe not I really don't remember). I do take a daily women's Centrum multi-vitamin, an EyeCap for vision health, two 1290 fishoil caps a day, a low dose aspirin nightly, and a Bcomplex pill. Have recently added flax seed back into my routine, have done so for years but ran out and never remembered to buy it.
Tonight's salad had avacado slices (so creamy and buttery), chopped up boiled egg, green grapes and cucumber along with other goodies. And the flax seed! I am taking some to work tomorrow as well.
Was going to eat some of the leftover mostaccolli or however it is spelled (to be referred to in the future as pasta, it will show up a few times this week). Will take some for lunch tomorrow, that will be yummy.
Got in LOTS of exercise today, felt so good. Don't get to do as much M-W when I work so I enjoy this extra time.
