Week #6
7/30/08 weight: 137.6 lbs. (62.5 kilos)
Wed. 7/30/08
B: a banana w/ 1 1/2 teaspoons sour cream, 1/4 cup walnuts, and 1 teaspoon sugar; a cup of coffee w/ 1 teaspoon sugar & hazelnut-flavored coffee creamer
L: a peanut butter & strawberry jelly sandwich on white bread AND 1 oz. of Live Active cheese
D: (LC): Lemon Chicken (lightly breaded chicken breast w/ rib meat in a lemon glaze w/ brown rice risotto), 4 fried potato wedges w/ tahini sauce, and 1 glass of soda
I was doing ssssssssooooooo well, today. But then, of course, I had to ruin it.
Snack: 2 Dunkin Donuts munchkins
Oh well, I'm going to mark it and move on. Tomorrow is another day.
Thurs. 7/31/08
B: a peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich on white bread
L: a multigrain tortilla w/ refried beans, a slice of American cheese, and a packet of mild sauce
D: white rice, one piece of barbecue chicken, potatoes baked in a tomato sauce, and 2 large olives
Slip-up: While making a strawberry jelly sandwich for my son, I ate about 1/2 a teaspoon of jelly. I'm still counting today as a success, but I'll be careful about "picking" next time.
Fri. 8/1/08
Because of yesterday's success, I am so excited about another success, today. Maybe I will try this 21 days of success, thing. It'll give me a small challenge to work towards.
B: grilled American cheese sandwich, pimiento olives, a cup of coffee w/ sugar and hazelnut-flavored creamer
L: (Dole Light Caesar Salad Kit): romaine lettuce, fat-free garlic croutons, and light Caesar dressing (I'm not into the fat-free thing, but this is what came in the salad kit and I figure it would be a "better" choice since dressing tends to have a lot of unncessary calories and I LOVE dressing). Also, 1 oz. of Live Active cheese
D: a multigrain tortilla w/ refried beans, beef, a Mexican cheese blend, pimiento olives, a packet of mild sauce, and sour cream; one "homemade" corn muffin; a tomato salad (diced tomatoes w/ spices)
Another slip-up: a teeny crumblet of my son's muffin. He didn't want to finish it and I didn't want to throw it out. Again, I'm still counting this as a SUCCESS day and will try to be more careful.
Sat. 8/2/08
Thank God, an S day
B: a sweet & salty almond granola bar and a corn muffin
L: Domino's Pizza: ate 3 plain slices of pizza from a medium pie, 3 or 4 buffalo chicken kickers with blue cheese dressing & hot sauce, and drank a glass of soda
D: Nothing
Snack: a few sips of orange juice from my son and a McDonald's chocolate chip cookie
Sun. 8/3/08
B: a sweet & salty almond granola bar
L: a little less than 2 slices of cheese pizza and soda
D: a cheeseburger, french fries, about 2 chicken tenders, ketchup, and soda
Snack: an ice cream cone (shared with my son but I probably ate more of it than he did).
Snack: had to finish my son's sweet & salty almond granola bar (a bit more than 1/2 of it; I love those things. I would never throw it out in the garbage

)
Snack: 3 mini napoleons (a serving is 5 pieces)
Exercise: went to Splashdown Beach water park with my husband and son for about 4 hours (This is what I call "purposeful swimming")
Mon. 8/4/08
B: a banana, 1/4 cup walnuts, 1 teaspoon sour cream, and 1 teaspoon sugar (I'm getting kind of tired of writing this ingredient list but I just don't know what to call this banana mixture of mine) AND 1 oz. Live Active cheese
Snack: a sweet & salty almond granola bar AND 1/2 of a hummus sandwich on white bread
L: pizza on a bagel (a bagel, seasoned tomato sauce, and 2 slices of American cheese) AND 2 chocolate chip cookies that my sister made. If it makes it any better, she made them "healthy"; extremely thin and with applesauce
Snack: vanilla and chocolate ice cream bar
Snack: 3 mini napoleons
Snack: 2 mini muffins, a handful of walnuts, and my son's leftover french fries w/ hot mustard sauce
Dinner: (McDonald's) a crispy ranch snack wrap, small french fries, a chicken nugget, and hot mustard sauce
Snack: (picked at Hubby's dinner from Alexis Diner) some Kriss Kross french fries w/ a ketchup packet and a few bites of the spicy buffalo wrap
I do not know what I was thinking. Writing all this down makes me feel like a human waste disposal.
Tues. 8/5/08
B: hummus sandwich on white bread and an almond granola bar
Snack: 6 (What can I say?! They were sitting RIGHT in front of me.

I swear I wake up every morning with the intention of having a GREEN day and then, something just happens. As I was writing, 6 "homemade" and "healthy" and very thin, chocolate chip cookies
(Who am I kidding?!

)
Lunch: "fiteera" My dad made it and wanted me to taste it. It is a pastry/dessert and he doesn't make them often. I couldn't just say "no."
Snack: 3 olives and a grape leaf (I need to stop this picking. My goodness, it's like I have no control, no boundaries.)
Dinner: only one plate of food and no vertical stacking; I tried to be good.
4 grape leaves, white rice and potatoes in a tomato sauce, and 2 pieces of chicken made on a barbecue grill
Snack: a banana w/ chocolate syrup and walnuts (I just needed something chocolatey).
Snack: licked batter leftovers and ate a few walnuts (batter: a corn muffin mix w/ an egg, some milk, chocolate syrup, and walnuts)
Another failure day, oh my.
I seem to be on a terrible roll, here.
