Long Time Lurker - First Time Post
Hi Everyone,
I probably decided it was time to join in the discussion. This board has been a great help to me, and I am hoping to get more support and perhaps even give back to others as well. I have been following No S off and on for about a year. Even though it has been haphazard, I have been slowly losing but more importantly, slowly losing that feeling that food is foremost on my mind. I'm looking forward to "meeting" everyone soon.

Thank you all for your kind welcome! After I posted I thought I should have given a little more personal detail so here goes...
I am 58 years old, married, two adult children, and three darling grandchildren. I have been overweight or obese since age 30 and I hope to be back to a healthy weight by age 60. I am sad when I think of all the years my weight has affected my health, both physical and emotional. But I am happy that at least in the last year or so my eating has been more sane and I am hopeful for the future and being able to be the fun grandma that does the cool stuff.

Hi
Just saying hello, found the site yesterday and looking forward to getting to know you all. I am committing to try to post most days and reading to gather knowledge and support. Trying to find a better way to deal with eating issues. The past hasn't really worked for me so looking forward to my new journey. Like you camperrose I have wasted so many years and so much money not only trying to lose weight (the latest £400 on injections) but also on food to binge on. Feeling hopeful and positive about creating new habits
Best to you CamperRose and Brocky.
I've been a long time reader/lurker too!! I finally started a check-in thread and I think it's working!
I had great success a few years ago, but never really stayed committed. I'm hoping actively posting/reading here will help me stay the course and keep me from reading about the latest health craze.
