I am so obsessed with food but every time I look in the mirror it makes me feel so disappointed on myself. I did want lose weight but can't help to eat and eat more food, I already use all kinds of method on diet like keto, vegetarian, vegan etc. but it won’t work because of my eagerness to eat foods. So, I began to research what can help me on losing my weight and to lose appetite and I saw this www.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com/green-lantern/. A report from The American Journal of Medicine explains that regular cannabis use was associated with lower levels of fasting insulin and smaller waist circumference. Cbd and thc are also new to me and I don't even smoke. Alternatively, they've also found new ways to infuse cannabis on food and beverages. If this is true I can't find any solid conclusive evidence that speaks to its efficacy. Any personal experience or testimonial would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Unfortunately, cannabis is purported to cure everything including cancer. I am not a user, nor have I ever used. I guess you do what you need to do.

I've never used it but cannabis has long had a reputation for causing "the munchies." The reputation is so long-standing, it is a motif in many comedy acts. Perhaps you should ask your doctor about your issue.

edited to add: I found this article verifying that cannabis causes the munchies. Per this article, they are researching it's use in INCREASING APPETITE. So it doesn't sound like a good option for your needs.

Cannabis is used to help people regain their appetite in the case of chemotherapy and wasting diseases. I doubt it would be helpful for weight loss when it's used to help people keep weight on.

I was a heavy cannabis user for 13 months (in a legal state) due to a medical condition that saw great improvement with use. Before starting in late 2017, I used recreationally about four times in my early 20s but I never really enjoyed it—mainly due to the munchies cited above and it being illegal in the state I grew up in.

However, about six months into using every single day due to medical use (and my medical use spiraled because I loved the pain relief and the high), I did find my appetite disappearing and a lot of my food issues took a backseat because it was so easy to just not eat, and as someone who has used food for every single issue in the past, this was pretty cool. However, it was not. Yes, I lost weight, yes, my medical issue improved, but I took to using cannabis like I had been using food, specifically sugar in my case. I am working with my MD now to go cold-turkey with cannabis for eight weeks and then I will use another form (1:1 tincture, hopefully!) to treat my autoimmune disease.

I'm in my first week of quitting after daily use that helped me so very much in many aspects of my life, but it was not worth using every single day to get to the point where I have a meh relationship with food. I truly believe there are better ways than cannabis, which I still love and support legalization of, to lose weight and develop a better relationship with food.

Just my experience and all that jazz. I hope whatever you choose works for you.
