John Henry, patron saint of Shovelglovers everywhere

Take a sledgehammer and wrap an old sweater around it. This is your "shovelglove." Every week day morning, set a timer for 14 minutes. Use the shovelglove to perform shoveling, butter churning, and wood chopping motions until the timer goes off. Stop. Rest on weekends and holidays. Baffled? Intrigued? Charmed? Discuss here.

Everything John Henry

Deliver us from sledgehammer heads that come loose, John Henry pray for us

Deliver us from unsuspecting dogs, cats, and loved ones sneaking up on us, John Henry pray for us

Deliver us from sweaty hands that send the whole hammer flying, John Henry pray for us
Marreta you got that? In Brasil, it means sledgehammer!
