It's an S day. I had some ice cream (Ben and Jerry's cinnamon swirl) this afternoon.
So, it's getting on in the day and I'm preparing to take a trip down South to see my family when I start thinking, "Good Lord, I'm hungry!"
I glance at the clock and realize that it's a few minutes past seven -- my dinner time.
My kids are elsewhere visiting family at the moment, so I'm alone in the house. I start thinking, "Okay, what's gonna fit on a plate that's a decent meal that'll fill me up for the rest of the evening?" before I realize it's an S day and I don't actually HAVE to.
I did anyway, 'cause, well... why not? It's what I started to do and a full meal sounds just fine. I don't have a craving for anything in particular anyway, since I had the ice cream.
That's what I think is the value of the habits carrying over from the N days.
