Reflections: Day 23

Reflections:

My mother used to say that people eat to live, but that I lived to eat. I now know what she meant. I love food!

Day 23 and I am not living to eat anymore (although it is hard, I feel for the first time that I am really in control).

Food tastes better now that I eat 3 meals a day and do not graze all day long. Then, I just put food in my mouth even without tasting it. Now I savor every meal because it is something that I have to wait for and anticipate, therefore I enjoy it so much more.

Desserts taste so much better when they are infrequent. Your taste buds really taste something special, not something that you are used to eating every day.

I am really thankful for the NoS Diet and as we approach Independence Day tomorrow, I really feel free from food.

Yay, Mooseberry!

One of my discoveries on No-S is that "treats taste so much better without a side-order of guilt."

Happy independence day! :)
