I am new and just wanted to say hello. I've been struggling with traditional dieting (mostly weight watchers) for a long time, nearly 10 years now, and the last 3 years have just been the worst. Totally stuck in the yo-yo diet realm and didn't feel like I could get past it. I tried Intuitive Eating once, but my diet-minded self couldn't quite grasp that level of freedom.
Today I was googling Intuitive Eating, again, trying to figure out the best way for me to go and I read a review that sent me to this website. Obviously today is day 1 so who knows how this will go, but it seems like the perfect blend of things for me. SOME rules, so that I don't get lost in total freedom, but not so restrictive that I have to live and die by the "points value" of a given food.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and I look forward to interacting here! I'll try to keep the obnoxious newbie questions to a minimum.

Welcome! We've had discussions about Intuitive Eating, and a few of us are graduates of that approach, which my kids called The Peanut Cluster Diet.
