What are 2 floating s days?

Post by gettheweightoff » Thu Dec 30, 2010 3:32 am

I've been reading this term "2 floating s days" on people's posts and am wondering what it means?

Does it mean only have 2 s days a month as they come up and forget Saturday and Sunday?

BTW what is vanilla as well?

Thanks!

Floating S days are those extra, special events each of us tends to have monthly. It could be your birthday or the birthday or family or special friends, anniversaries and so on. They are taken in addition to the regular Saturday and Sunday S days.

Vanilla No-S is No-S as written without any modifications. Many of us who have been on No-S for a while have modified it to better suit our needs. For instance, I modified it originally to have 2 or 3 S events weekly instead of 2 S days on the weekends. It started because most of my socializing was done during the week and I was frustrated because I couldn't have a dessert when I went out. I'd been on No-S for over 2 years when I made that modification.
