I'm Free Now - Finally

Post by NoSnacker » Tue Jun 28, 2011 8:22 am

Yesterday was back to the basics for No S. And I'm so excited because IN THE past because I had the freedom over the weekend on this plan, I would have beaten myself silly and I would have thought of myself as a failure and given up and continued to eat on and on until the scale went up and up. Trying hard to get back to counting calories again.

BUT, because I allowed myself this freedom over the weekend, AND loved myself thru it AND not berate or belittle myself, it made Monday all the more easy to start my mon-fri habit building. I don't miss the snacks..I really don't. Which totally surprises me. I thought when I read the No S plan that there is no way on this earth I could follow that...but it is easier than I thought. Hey as long as I can have my honey in my tea and yogurt with fruit on the bottom, I'm good!

The diet mentality is what really was a major issue for me.

I was a diet failure all my life, never to make goal weight, never..why because I could not stop binging and counting calories wore me out. The deprivation of it all has been a big heavyness on me.

I'm free now. It is too easy to turn back now. Life could not get better.

Congratulations!

Of all the esses, I think snacks are the hardest to give up, but once you do, you realize they gave you the least positive pleasure. In terms of cost/benefit, "no snacks" is a no brainer. Now if only habit were so easy to convince of that...
