What have I realized in 5 weeks? Well, it is possible to enjoy a Friday afternoon with friends and not snack (nobody really notices). Food tastes a lot better when you're really hungry. And more importantly, yes, after some pretty "tall" plates of food, that issue is starting to resolve itself. My meals are smaller, I don't feel bad, and am TRULY hating the feeling that I get when I do manage to eat too much at one time. I really love that last part, because I used to feel that way after every meal.
It's a journey but No S combined with C25K has made me feel better than I have in years. Other stats are in order, I suppose....I'm 43, have 2 kids, lots of dogs, and started off needing to lose about 77 pounds. Five weeks later I'm still 43, still have 2 kids, lots of dogs, 77 minus 12 pounds, and I actually ran 20 minutes without stopping last Saturday.

Oops...forgot to add....as you can tell, I joined way back in January 2010 and made a few half-a**ed attempts...then forgot about it for a while....then remembered it at the beginning of the new year...and then decided to go for it again April 11th. So...if at first you don't succeed....you know the rest!
