Halloween an S day?
Just curious as to how many of you count Halloween as an S day. I'm not very tempted by the candy, but someone did bring in apple pie slices and it sure is tempting to have one with my lunch .
Here's my 2¢: If you trick or treat, it's an S day. If you don't, it's not.
"That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do. Not that the nature of the thing itself has changed but our power to do it is increased." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Indeed it is (at least on our street).

For the first time, we've got a family theme going: "Spiderman and his Amazing Friends (circa 1981)."
My older daughter is such an obscure superhero (Firestar) the she needs a nametag. Thanks to Netflix and my extensive collection of original Kenner Star Wars action figures, I'm able to raise my kids in a nostalgia time bubble.
Happy Halloween, everyone.

I dunno. I had the Boston Cream Pie fail last Thursday and a rich weekend - cheesecake, ice cream, M&Ms, a bake sale treat at church. We are having meatloaf and roasted veggies tonight. Maybe I'll have a beer instead of a sweet. Beer is less of trigger for me than sweets, much less likely to indulge.
