Liquid Calories

Post by Betty » Tue Jun 19, 2007 8:20 pm

4th day of NoS: I've been making it through the day without snacking, but have been really relying on a glass of milk or juice to get me through the last few hours before meals. Does anyone else do this? Is it ok? Will I be able to cut out the drinks as I get more comfortable with not snacking??

Thanks,
Betty

Yes, Betty! I often drink a 6oz. juice glass full of milk when I need to ward off hunger or the urge to eat! It works, and it has not appeared to hinder my losing - although I am losing slowly at about a 1/2 pound a week. But, this is much better than what I was doing before - which was gaining! Do what you have to do to make the plan work for you while you develop better eating habits. I know I will never try another "diet!" Good luck to you!
