More on hunger

Post by Betty » Mon Jul 30, 2007 4:55 am

I've always been a permasnacker...thought I got hungry after about 3 hours. And it's true, about three hours after a meal I do get these hunger prickles. But what I've noticed is that if I wait about an hour, the prickles go away and then I can cruise to about 6 hours before I really start to get hungry.

This is new and exciting for me. Before No S I don't think I went 6 hours without eating in Years.

Congratulations! That's great.

It's funny how brainwashed we've been by the snack industry. It seems shocking to us that we could go without snacking between meals -- despite the fact that that's precisely what the vast majority of humankind did for all of its existence until like 30 years ago.
