That can be so hard because so many people want to celebrate with you!

Happy Birthday!
(Now imagine how it'd be if your birthday were a major holiday where there's lots of food and parties during the season....)

thanks for the birthday wishes, all!
shamrockmommy--my birhday was tuesday, too (happy birthday to you!) and my husband bought me a beautiful cake from an amazing bakery. I (jokingly) asked if he was trying to sabotage me. He meant well. I told him last night that next year, a cupcake would suffice.

Yes, Happy Birthday, Maslowjenkins and Shamrockmommy!
I am laughing out loud, because my birthday turned into a whole week of snacks and sweets, too! My birthday was on a Sunday, so the Friday before my co-workers took me out to lunch, and I got a delicious hot fudge sundae for free after lunch! Mmmm. Then the cakes and treats over the weekend. And it just carried over and kept going and going. Honestly didn't keep on habit for the next 5 days...so a week of feasting!
I like that...picking yourself up, wiping off the cake crumbs, and getting back on habit! Good for you!
