Hi I have been lurking and No-Sing for 21 days. I wanted to let everyone know how much help all your posts are. All of your success's as well as all the support that is given when some one feels as though they are failing or that No S wont work have encouraged me to keep trying. One of the hardest habits for me to break is weighing daily and saying ohh good down a little or worse yet up a tad and being bummed. It sure helps to come here and get support from everyone,,, Thank you

Yesterday on an "S" day i allowed myself to have a choco chip muffin from DD and i couldn't even eat half!! It was way to sweet! WoW
![Surprised :o](./images/smilies/icon_surprised.gif)
Even though i haven't lost weight i am defiantly changeing habits!!!!!

Congratulations on 21 days and best wishes for another successful 21 days. I hear you about the scale. It calls to me but for one week I have stayed away.
Keep smiling. Laff

It's an Avatar blueskighs. You can download your own if you go to your profile page.
I searched online for mine, then adjusted the size to fit the maximums allowed.
Creating and sustaining the No S habits are the only thing that will take me in the direction I want to go!

and feeling great! Just as Reinhard and others said, this just gets easier and easier. Even on S days I'm not usually tempted to snack or seconds, and reserve sweets for a treat -- like a nice piece of dark chocolate last night.
I started No S'ing 3 weeks ago at 162lbs with a modest goal to lose 9lbs in 7 weeks. Only 3 weeks in and I'm down 8lbs, but more importantly feel like this regime makes me eat healthier and more consciously. Seeing exactly how much I eat has been super helpful, and seeing an empty plate now triggers a "done" feeling rather than the constant "what else?" I used to feel.
I plan to stick with No S for good.
Good luck all!

I have actually had 22 on-habit days....but mixed in, not consecutive. I had one red day in each of my first three weeks since joining this discussion board.
Tuesdays are hard for me, and I made it through Tuesday. My goal is no red's this week!
Great job, Tink, Buffalo Gal, and Irish. Inspired, you are inspiring! Keep up the good work!

inspired,
I agree ... I think that is the "spotlight" effect Reinhard talks about in the book ...
