110 lbs (50 kg, 7 st 12 lbs) over seven years.
1st year: lost 45 lbs (21 kg, 3st 3 lbs),
2nd year: lost 25 lbs (11 kg, 1 st 11 lbs)
3rd year: lost 12 pounds (5 kg)
4th year: maintained
5th year: lost 9 pounds (4 kg)
6th year: lost 5 pounds (2 kg)
7th year: lost 14 pounds (6 kg)
making 110 lbs (50 kg, 7 st 12 lbs) over seven years.
Weight is coming off more slowly now, although I still have a long way to go, and keeping the weight off takes constant vigilance. I am a much more comfortable weight and am more physically active.
Thank you, Reinhard. No S is the only weight control programme which has worked for me in the long term.

Wow!
That is simply awesome. . . what a great testament to this way of eating and to you for the patience and determination to let these habits become ingrained in you.
Like the tortoise says, slow and steady wins the race!
Congratulations!

Do you know I think with the exception of the woman from Washington, who lost quite a lot, and was jogging about six miles a day, but who I haven't seen around here for at least two or three years, I think you may just be the NoS "Biggest Loser" here Too Solid (but getting much less Solid) flesh!
But thankfully, I am sure you will have a much better maintenance record considering you lost your weight in a very healthy way over time.
(and I mean maintenance compared to the people on the show "The Biggest Loser" not the NoS member from years past.
It is just great to hear this success story!
I hope to be able to post a testimonial very similar to yours in a few years from now!
Thanks again for sharing

Thank you very much, LA_Loser and gratefuldeb. I really appreciate your kind comments.
I should have put something thanking all the posters to the bulletin board, which I check most days and which gives such wonderful ideas and so much moral support, but I feared sounding like an Oscar winner's acceptance speech!

Too solid flesh,
Though you've already "done your bit" on the old testimonials page, I VERY much appreciate your taking the time to update your (increasingly!) impressive story in this new forum! Anyone can drop pounds quickly, but to keep doing it year after year, "automatically," without pain and suffering, that's really something.
Congratulations and THANK YOU!
Reinhard
