It's not a joke. I am finding, if I don't take he time to sit down, and eat right in the morning, by lunch I'm ready to eat the paint off teh wall. Sometimes I wake up a tad late, and have to pick up the individual I ride with. Unfortunately this means I'm normally slugging down a meal replacement shake. Which usually means by 10 O' Clock I'm really hungry.
However, when I sit and eat a "full breakfast" I'm good to go until 12:230 PM, and If I'm busy, beyond.

Jon, maybe you can come up with a few default breakfasts that you can *grab and go with* on those running late mornings - some things that will give you the opportunity to do some chewing, bringing more satisfaction and being more filling than drinking your breakfast. Like maybe a banana, a cheese stick, some homemade *healthy* muffins from the freezer for such occasions, or my favorite - a peanut butter and banana sandwich - you'd be surprised how long that sticks with you!
