WASHINGTON DC trip

We are looking at possibly taking a trip to Washington DC next weekend. Was wondering if any of you could give some pointers on what to do, where to stay and where not to go. My sons are 12 and 6 years old.

Ignore previous request. We've decided to go to Floriday instead. My six year old explained to us in a very grown -up way how he really would not enjoy the trip. :wink:
