His big chance to explicitly acknowledge the source of his quote for rule #60 :-)

Well, it doesn't appear that Michael mentioned rule #60. HOWEVER -- you can go to oprah.com and comment on the show and mention it. Or, even better, a bunch of us can.

You wouldn't be the only author to comment on the show. Nicolette Niman, author of Righteous Porkchop commented. Nothing wrong with a little self-promotion!

During the opening minute of the show yesterday, Oprah (I think), said something about "thinking about the food we eat." My daughter was passing through the room, heard that and said, "I don't what to THINK about food; I just want to eat."

And I think that's part of the problem. Our food supply is such that we have to think about -- you can't trust that the food available is good for you.

Go, Reinhard! Get on there and get your due! Anyway, I'm glad Pollan is on; I wonder if Oprah is eating "food. Mostly plants." these days. But, I applaud her for showcasing his wisdom.

If you didn't see the show, here are the notes a blogger took.

If you haven't seen Food, Inc., I highly recommend it.
