Thanks for posting. I love that actress! I actually didn't know the Bones star was her sister! Glad she is practically a No-S-er!

Love her--she's talented, seems interesting and intelligent, and is adorable. And this sort of amazes me:

They make amazing gluten-free chocolate-chip cookies. I like to keep things like that in my freezer, just so I know it’s there, but I almost never touch it. It’s weird. The knowledge that it’s there is enough, it’s almost more satisfying to me. Once it’s gone, then you don’t have the option anymore. I like having the option.

I have to do exactly the opposite. Knowing a treat like that is in the house makes me want to eat it immediately. Having a stash of treats like that would drive me nuts. I like to make or buy whatever treat right before I plan to eat it. I can think about it all week and delay the gratification that way, but having it around is too tempting (at least for now).

As long as it's not out where I can see it anything can be in the house. My daughter works at The Cheesecake Factory and occasionally brings home cheesecake. It can be there for a week and I won't even think about it because I don't see it. Actually, that's not a great example -- we're all pretty tired of cheesecake!

Hahah, Wosnes, I admire your strength--especially since you take wandering S-events. Incidentally, that was something I tried for a while. I was good at it in the beginning and then seemed to degrade slightly. Once that happened it felt hard to get back on track and I decided to get back with vanilla NoS, at least for a while. I hope to try wandering again at some point, though.

Well, generally speaking nothing is in the house. I normally don't have snack/treat foods or desserts around unless I intend to eat them. But they can be around and I won't eat them if they're not out in plain view.

I'm embarrassed to admit I don't know who she is, but she looks great, and it's refreshing to read that it's (partly, I'm sure goddess-like genes helped) because of old fashioned meal based eating.

I'm still waiting on a celebrity spokesperson for No-s, I think she'd fit the bill brilliantly. :-)
