Well, I weighed myself last Monday when I started this diet. Then I weighed myself this morning for a beginning of the month value- a deficit of 5 pounds!!!
While I am thrilled about these results, it saddens me that my eating habits were so horrible.
Anyway, I thought I would share my "victory" despite my mixed feelings.
Amazing Results!

Well, you can't change what used to be -- just build better habits for the future. Congrats on the weight loss!

Well, before you get either too euphoric or depressed, it is quite common to have an initial large weight loss on ANY diet, as the body sheds water and waste. Future progress is usually slower, which can be a problem for those who were expecting the rate to be linear (it's definitely not).
So, wouldn't focus too much emotion on it, beyond relief that whatever you're doing is having results... just continue on.

Reinhard - I have a horrible habit when I diet of weighing MULTIPLE times every DAY! I have been trying really hard with No S to only weigh once a day - and yesterday I didn't weigh at all! I know that it is horrible behavior - my goal for now is to get to a point of only weighing once a week! Ill get there!
