Hey, Reinhard! New Food Rules

Michael Pollan is writing a new, expanded edition of Food Rules. No-S should be mentioned in this one! I'm not sure if "next fall" is 2011 or 2012.

I emailed the link in the article and suggested No-S... and specifically said it should be credited to Reinhard. Gave a link to the website too.

Hope something comes of that. :)

I think Reinhard contacted Michael Pollan after we saw the mention in the first book. Pollan said that he would be credited in any succeeding editions of the book.

EDIT
Here it is:
Reinhard wrote:Michael Pollan just sent me an email!

He wrote that he'd taken the S rules to be a "meme at large" floating around the net and hadn't realized that they were a consciously devised, published system. He would have happily credited me if he had -- and is going to look into doing so in the next printing.

He also mentioned that mine wasn't the only email he received on the subject, so THANK YOU guys!

Thanks for the update, wosnes.

I did contact Michael Pollan when the first version came out last year and he very graciously (and quickly) said he'd include an explicit reference in future editions. Hope he remembers! (reminders never hurt -- thank you KCCC).
